Terms of Use
These terms apply to your use of the That's the Guy iPhone app and this website (together, the "Service"), provided by That's the Guy ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. Using the app
The Service helps you prepare for and work a conference: keep a list of people you want to meet, record notes, and track follow-ups. You may use it only in line with these terms and the law. Some features described on our website are marked "Coming soon" and are not available yet.
2. Accounts
You sign in with Apple. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your Apple account secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings, then Delete account.
3. Your content
You own the content you enter, including photos, notes, and contact details. You give us a limited permission to store, process, and display it as needed to run the Service for you. You are responsible for your content and for having a legitimate reason to keep the information you add about other people.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- harass, threaten, stalk, or discriminate against anyone;
- use the Service to send spam or unsolicited bulk email;
- add or use information about people in ways that break the law or their reasonable expectations;
- attempt to break, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
- use the Service for anything unlawful or harmful.
Emails you send are your responsibility. When you contact people, you are responsible for the content of your messages and for complying with anti-spam and privacy laws that apply to you, such as the CAN-SPAM Act in the United States and the GDPR and similar laws elsewhere. That includes having a lawful basis to contact someone and honoring requests to stop. When Gmail follow-ups become available, drafts are sent only after you review and approve them.
5. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that scanned information will be accurate. Please check details before relying on them.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for it, if anything. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or if needed to protect the Service or other people. When your account is deleted, your data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the "Last updated" date above, and for significant changes we will notify you in the app or by email. Using the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
